CalFRESH & Medi-Cal Customer Call Center

To better serve our customers in the cities of Moreno Valley, Mira Loma, and Riverside (La Sierra and Jurupa), the County of Riverside Department of Public Social Services has opened a CalFresh/SNAP and Medi-Cal Customer Call Center (CCC).

The CCC operates much like other service centers. If a customer receives CalFresh/SNAP and/or Medi-Cal benefits, lives in Moreno Valley, Mira Loma, or Riverside (La Sierra and Jurupa), and has questions about their case or needs to report changes, they can call our toll free number, 1-877-410-8827 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays. The toll free number also has an automated Integrated Voice Response (IVR) system offering service options and information in both English and Spanish twenty four (24) hours, seven (7) days a week.It is County of Riverside's goal that the CCC provides quality and efficient service and improves accessibility. Customers no longer have an assigned worker responsible for their case.

When customers call the CCC they will have the opportunity to obtain information through the IVR automated system or be connected quickly to an experienced Eligibility Technician who will:

- Answer questions

- Take information

- Assist customers with their benefits

- Provide referrals to community services

Applications for all programs, including CalWORKs, CalFresh/SNAP, General Relief and Medi-Cal will continue to be taken at existing Department of Public Social Services offices throughout Riverside County.
