Riverside County In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Committee Recruitment

Recruitment

The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee meets four (4) times a year. As one (1) of eleven (11) committee members you will collaborate with the County of Riverside Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) regarding administration of the IHSS Program. Members are volunteers and are appointed to the Committee by the County of Riverside's Board of Supervisors. Members must be a past or present IHSS consumer or homecare provider and must commit to attending each of the four (4) meetings (September December, March and June). If you are interested in learning more about the IHSS Advisory Committee please contact Dwight Benner at the IHSS Public Authority (888)470-4477 ext. 227.  (Revised 3/02/15)

Advisory Committee Application

The IHSS Advisory Committee members are asked to fulfill a two year commitment with the option of an additional two years with Supervisorial approval.  The IHSS Advisory Committee recruits on an on-going basis in all areas of the County for members who may be approaching their term limit.
