Adult Services

Introduction

The Adult Services Division provides social service programs to help Riverside County’s elderly and dependent adults live safely with as much independence as possible. We believe in a person’s right to dignity, self-determination and to live in the least restrictive environment possible. Our staff partner with elder and dependent adults to identify service needs and create plans to meet those needs, with the involvement of the individual, family members and other significant people in their lives. Service Plans often involve the coordination of services from many different agencies in the community. We also sponsor and coordinate county-wide multidisciplinary teams which provide education to the community and mandated reporters about elder and dependent adult abuse and help to create and implement individualized, coordinated service plans.

Adult Services Mission

Promote safety, well-being and independence for elder and dependent adults through accurate and timely assessments and linkage to services.
